Our Tajweed course is open to students of all levels, from beginners to experienced readers, who wish to enhance their recitation skills.
Through a comprehensive curriculum, students will delve into the intricacies of Tajweed rules, pronunciation techniques and rhythmic patterns.
Our Stages
All students, regardless of prior experience, begin our course at Stage 1 to ensure a comprehensive understanding of foundational principles.
Focusing on the accurate pronunciation of Arabic letters.
Focusing on learning and applying Tajweed theory rules.
Perfecting pronunciation as it was revealed to our Prophet ﷺ.
Eligibility
To be eligible for Tajweed4All, you must:
- Be at least 16 years old upon starting your course.
- Be based locally in Perth, Western Australia.
- Be able to read from this Quranic mushaf.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need prior knowledge of Tajweed to enroll?
No prior knowledge is required. Our course is designed to cater to individuals with varying levels of familiarity with Tajweed principles. However, you will need to be able to read from the Quranic mushaf as demonstrated above.
Are classes conducted online or in-person?
Classes are conducted in in-person groups across various Perth metro locations. You will be able to select your preferred locations in the Expression of Interest form. The T4All admin team will do their best to ensure you are placed in a location suitable to your preferences.
Ladies classes are currently only conducted online.
How long does it take to complete Tajweed4All?
The duration of the course varies depending on the level of commitment and the pace of the student. Typically, students who pass each stage successfully can complete the full course within 1 year.
What is the time commitment required for Tajweed4All?
Classes are scheduled at convenient times to accommodate both student and mentor availability. Each weekly class runs between 1-1.5 hours, where students will learn to pronounce Arabic letters with correct Tajweed with their mentor. Aside from this, students are expected to allocate time before and after class to practice the pronunciation of letters.
What teaching materials are provided?
Students receive practice exercises and reference videos, plus a Tajweed4All booklet to aid in their learning journey.
Can I join Tajweed4All if I’m not based in Perth?
Unfortunately, we only accept students that are based in Perth at this stage.
I have been studying Tajweed elsewhere, can I start at Stage 2 or 3?
We encourage all students to begin from Stage 1 to ensure that there is a solid foundation in place. If you feel like you may be suitable for higher stages, you can request an informal assessment when submitting your Expression of Interest form.
